Jelena Bjelica

Born 1974, Novi Sad, Serbia.

Graduated from the Art University in Novi Sad, department of graphic print, supervised by Professor Zivko Djak, since 2000.

Independent visual artist.

Member of the “Arts society of Vojvodina”.

Member of the Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia (ULUPUDS)
Member of the “Fine arts society circle”.

Professional experience:

2013 – 2018. Independent artist expresses herself through drawing, graphic prints, painting and graphic design. Runs art workshop for young talents, and adults.

Leads a project Culture of diversity, which includes art work with a national minority, supported by the Provincial Secretariat for Culture.

In September 2015, spends a month of professional training in Vodnjan, Croatia, at the Apoteka Gallery, a center for contemporary art. The training is supported by the European Commission, within the framework of the program for stimulating entrepreneurship for young people. (Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs).

2011 – 2012. Graphic designer, Theater of the Youth, Novi Sad
2007 – 2010. Independent artist expresses herself through graphic prints, painting and graphic design. Runs art workshop for young talents, teaching drawing, graphic prints, painting and sculpturing.
2005 – 2006. Teacher of fine arts, “Djura Jaksic” school, Kac
2004 – 2005. Gallery work “Small saloon of arts” Cultural center Novi Sad.
2002 – 2003. Teaching young talents, drawing, painting, and graphic print.
2001 – 2002. Working in art workshop “Novkabel”.

1998 – 2018. Participated in more than fifty juried group exhibitions in Serbia and Montenegro, Macedonia, Croatia, Spain, France, Greece, Romania, Canada, USA, Switzerland, Austria, India.

Participated in a number of art colonies.
